To start the website project we do a strategic alignment session with all of the important decision-makers in one room.

Web Design Brief

We summarize the findings and define your brand, your users, and your business goal. We prioritize the specific target. You will approve the design brief we have sent.

Part 6

Sitemap

You and our team will work together to define the structure of your whole site. We can either start from scratch or follow the existing sitemap of your website and remove the unwanted pages.They approve it.

Part 7

Wireframes

The wireframe is a clear picture of how each of your webpage is going to look, in an outline. We will show the positioning of content and visual elements of your website to keep things organized.

Part 8

Content Creation

Now that we have a bigger picture of the site in mind, we can start creating content for the individual pages, always keep search engine optimization (SEO) in mind to help keep pages focused on a single topic. It’s vital that you have real content to work with for our next stage:

Part 9

Visual Content

With the site architecture and some content in place, we can start working on the visual brand. This part is the mockup or a static look of the real site. After you approved this, we will now create your website.

Part 10

Development

This is where the site is created. We will set-up your WordPress site and start building your site. We will also install some plug-ins and at the same time, we will create a different layout for mobile and tablet devices.

Part 11

Testing

By now, you’ve got all your pages and defined how they display to the site visitor, so it’s time to make sure it all works. Combine manual browsing of the site on a variety of devices with automated site crawlers to identify everything from user experience issues to simple broken links.

Part 12 - LAST PART

Launch the Website!

Once everything is working great, it’s time to and launch your site! This should include planning both launch timing and communication strategies — i.e., when will you launch and how will you let the world know? After that, it’s time to maintain your website.

1. Web Designer's Availability

High-quality WordPress developers are usually booked, so they can’t start on your website immediately. There could be some delay from when you first hire the developer when they actually get started. 

2. Website needs To Be Rush

Most designers and developers have a clear process for building a website, and can describe roughly how long it will take to get a website in your hands.

So if you’d ask how long does it take to make your website, remind them that it will be published the same day you will launch your business online so they will prioritize this first rather than the others.

3. Clients Revisions

You as a client are also responsible for the time it would take to make your website. If your web designer asks questions about your business, don’t respond with vague answers. This will result in more revisions, and more revisions mean a longer time to create the project and entail additionals cost for the web designer’s end.

10. Get Active on Social Media

It’s not enough to just share content through social channels – you need to actively participate in the community, too. Is your audience leaving comments on your Facebook posts? Answer questions and engage with your readers. Nothing turns people off quicker than using social media as a broadcast channel – use social media as it was intended and actually interact with your fans.

11. Submit Your Content to Aggregator Sites

These services aggregate the social performance of specific sites and content to provide you with an at-a-glance view of what topics are resonating with readers and, most importantly, making the rounds on social media. Find out what people are reading (and talking about), and emulate that kind of content to bring traffic to your website.

18. Make Yourself an Authority

You probably visit at least a few sites that are relevant to your business on a regular basis, so why not join the conversation? Commenting doesn’t necessarily provide an immediate boost to referral traffic right away, but making a name for yourself by providing insightful, thought-provoking comments on industry blogs and sites is a great way to get your name out there – which can subsequently result in driving more traffic to your own site. Just remember that, as with guest posting, quality and relevance are key – you should be engaging with other people in your niche, not dropping spam links on unrelated websites.

Building a website yourself or hiring someone is a decision you may be pondering. There is no right or wrong answer to this but here are the three important points to consider before you decide.

1. Time

First, consider your time. Do you have the time to build your own website? How much time are you will to commit in making your website?

Some of us know how to build a website or buy website platform that build websites. In other words, building a website and having the time to build a website is different so be realistic with your availability.

Even if you hire someone to do the website for you, prepare to budget time to manage the project. This may require copywriting, revisions and gathering media files like photos and videos.

2. Money

The second point is money. Are there funds to hire help? If there’s none, the decision on how to proceed may be determined by this point alone. Also, if branding is critical maybe you can’t afford a site that isn’t top-notch. If that is the case, it may be time to interview web designers.

3. Expertise

Finally, the last one thing to consider whether to build your own website or hire help is expertise. If you have the expertise and confidence to tackle all your website management, great! But if you don’t, hiring a professional could get the job done on time and on budget.

Do note that I use the word professional because not everybody who calls themselves a developer may have the expertise to get the job done right. In other words, do your research, see their portfolio and references, and talk to other candidates before you choose.

I know that it can be tempting to build your own website. But in my own opinion please, don’t do it. There are professionals out there for a reason. Builders like 1&1 and Wix just aren’t worth your time. You want to work with a web developer that can look after you, give you the best advice, and help grow your business. 

In conclusion, choosing base on time, money, and expertise are important decisions that will help you critically evaluate what works best for you and your business.
